“Don’t Wear No Shoes in My House”

It’s 2021, the panny is still going strong, outside is still closed and we’re still probably buying lots of things we don’t need. Since most of last year’s posts focused on comfort and adapting our outside faves for indoor wear, I wanted to focus on elevating those comfort essentials and making them a bit more polished. To kick things off, we’re starting with house shoes! I grew up in a strict “shoes come off at the door” household, so when Roddy Rich said “Don’t wear no shoes in my house!” I felt that on a spiritual level. Since we’re all more conscious of outside germs and what we’re carrying into our homes, it’s no surprise that more people have fallen in love with house shoes during quarantine. A lot of brands have risen to the occasion and delivered styles that are both comfy and chic for lounging around inside. I’ve gathered my favorites below (all under $100 because let’s not wild out with house shoes) along with some quality quarantine style inspiration.
