So, recently a lot of my fashion journey has been reclaiming triggering fashion moments from my childhood. Akin to my disdain of turtlenecks, was my aversion to this one pair of straight leg off-white corduroy pants from Old Navy. I was SO over it but here we are a couple decades later and basically, mother still knows best 🙃Definitely on the hunt for a pair of neutral corduroy trousers and a shirt jacket or blazer this season.
Absolutely obsessed with this caramel color for fall and it looks SO good in corduroy. It’s the perfect neutral so it pairs well with flannels, animal print or your fave graphic tee. With corduroy bottoms, go for a straight or wide-leg fit or fully lean into 70s vibes with a full flare situation and white boots.
The simplicity of a good ole white tee (or turtleneck!) The texture of corduroy pops even more in non-neutral shades so if you’re wearing head-to-toe cords, let it be the main event and pair with a lowkey tee. With neon still buzzing right now, I love opting for a softer pastel corduroy look.

Skirts in fall usually means knee-high boots or layering tights underneath but the warmth of corduroy means you can show a little leg for a little longer. Opt for a midi length and wear with your favorite chunky sweater with a front tuck and finish the look with the shoe of the season aka white booties.
